Kick dot com was launched after twitch banned the majority of (fake) gambling streams - a concept by share holder of stake and some other people. The idea of a streaming platform we endorse but the subcategory with lots of shady casino streamers and mostly promoting stake is what bothers us. There's zero transparency, streamers are not mentioning if its promotional money or real funds they are playing with. The moderation lacks, since it is allowing Bossmanjack to suicide bate it's owner viewers even when numerous reports are submitted. The platform is also known for "hot bath tub" streams which is like semi erotic and no nudity.
These are mostly rewinds as a way of providing cheap promotion - the audience who watches that is even more dumb because none of the models actually respond to any live chat. What can we say? Since twitch removed casino promotion in general, kick took over, and we end up with a subcategory which was nothing better then the original. More and more shady streamers streaming their action, enticing its viewers to provide Viewer Bonus buys and such. Now there is nothing wrong with viewer engagement but again ; mostly coming from the casino streamers on which job signing up affiliates for the bigger casino brands.
So if you noticed a few things and this listing starts to make sense - you know you are on the right path about Kick.com. Perhaps in the future they will change the quality requirements for streaming, who knows. But for now, this deserves a listing in here. There's not many platform out there where you can freely stream content - youtube is too tight for that reason.
